The Birdman of Cedar Key Florida 3

If you haven't heard already, Owen Freeman "The Birdman of Cedar Key" was buried Wednesday, October 28th at 1 PM in Forest Lawn Memorial Park, may his memory live on forever. Like I had said in the other postings, thank you all very much for supporting him when he need all the love he could get. Both my wife and I (especially my wife) thank you from the bottom of our hearts and wish that the best of your past be the worst of your future.

  1. Thanks for looking in on my blog. I see where you are very attentive to the plight of pelicans. You might be interested to know that this migration season has thousands of brown pelicans stopping over on the south coast of Oregon. I had stopped by a state park recently and was surprised to see the beach line had the large birds stretched out up and down for quite a ways....at least until the dunes blocked them out from my sight. Then yesterday I read in our local newspaper that this somewhat unusual landing was happening. Hopefully many will move on since the winters here can really take their toll on the pelicans. I've seen them blown across the street during one particularly bad storm.
